Arts Based Methods to Improve Learning

ASER Nepal/GalliGalli is partnering with Mobile Arts for Peace (MAP) research project to implement arts based methods with children in Nepal to improve learning. MAP is UKRI/AHRC/GCRF funded 4 year research project to be implemented in Rwanda, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan and Nepal. University of Lincoln, UK is leading the project and Rajib Timalsina is one of Co-investigator of the arts based research project with children and youths.

General Practices and Challenges of Menstruation among young girls

GalliGalli conducted an informal discussion session. The sole purpose of the program is to provide an informal platform for young girls to openly talk about menstruation. Also to have a dialogue on menstruation from the perspective of society, psychosocial, and mental health.

The panelists for the session/event were Dr. Neeti Aryal, PhD, Sociology and Momisha Adhikari, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support

Webinar on “Understanding foundational numeracy: South Asian perspectives on ICAN – a new global tool”

On 10th August 2020, the South Asia Hub of PAL Network; ASER India, ASER Pakistan, ASER Bangladesh and ASER Nepal hosted a webinar on "Understanding foundational numeracy: South Asian perspectives on ICAN – a new global tool".

The webinar was successfully hosted on both zoom and live streaming of all South Asia Hub member countries Facebook pages.
